Internal boiler water treatment refers to chemicals administered directly into the steam boiler's bulk water after it has passed through pre-treatment equipment, deaerators and boiler economizers. Therefore Pre-treatment is administered before MU water supplies fully pass through deaerators and boiler economizer loops or other heat recovery coil systems.
